Team’s Up – Kyogo returns to Celtic team for Cup Final

Ange Postecoglou has named his side for Celtic’s game against Hibs in the Premier Sports Cup Final. The game will be the Australian’s first opportunity to win a trophy since arriving at the club in the summer and, despite injuries, he will be eager to signpost the progress since arriving with the League Cup.

He has been boosted by the return of attacking duo Kyogo and Mikey Johnston.

In goals, Joe Hart starts. The Englishman has been excellent since joining from Tottenham in the summer.

In defence, Cameron Carter-Vickers starts with Carl Starfelt in the central pairing. The central defenders are joined by Josip Juranovic at right back and Greg Taylor at left back.

In the middle, captain Callum McGregor is joined by Tom Rogic and David Turnbull. The skipper, who took over the captaincy from Scott Brown in the summer, will be hoping to lift his first trophy as skipper this evening.

In attack, Celtic have been plagued with injuries that mean that the manager hasn’t had a full compliment of players to pick from. However, he’s been able to recall Kyogo Furuhashi, the Japanese sensation will lead the line at Hampden despite limping off against Real Betis a few weeks ago.
Liel Abada, who scored the opener on Wednesday, will start on the left wing with the versatile Mikey Johnston occupying the other berth.

Subs: Bain, Scales, Bitton, McCarthy, Shaw, Montgomery, Ralston, Welsh, Moffat.
