Team’s Up – One change as Taylor comes in for Valle

Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this evening’s UEFA Champions League clash with RB Leipzig. The Scottish Champions

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goals. The Dane kept a clean sheet in Bergamo and will keen to be solid when called upon this evening.

Brendan has gone with the same back four that played at the weekend with US duo Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty starting along with Greg Taylor and Alistair Johnston at fullback.

In midfield, Callum McGregor starts with Arne Engels and Reo Hatate.

In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kühn.

Subs: Sinisalo, Scales, Palma, Idah, Valle, Yang, McCowan, Nawrocki, Bernardo, Forrest, Ralston & Welsh

  2. Bit surprised that Taylor got the nod over valle at LB?
    Even moreso when valle done so well last time out against atalanta?
    Rodgers now sees Trusty ahead of scales, so an untried left hand side of the defence in operation tonight?
    Big call by Rodgers, and hope it works out well for ourselves, even if I have a bit of concern at present
