Team’s Up – O’Riley replaces Mooy, Maeda returns after knee knock

Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic side to play Hibs at Celtic Park this afternoon as the Hoops seek to maintain their brilliant home form in domestic football this season which has seen Celtic enjoy a 100% win record and long may it continue.

Matt O’Riley gets a chance to shine with Aaron Mooy sitting this one out as indeed is Tomoki Iwata.  But Daizen Maeda returns after taking a painful knock to his knee scoring against Hearts at Celtic Park last Wednesday night. Carl Starfelt went off injured at the interval at Tynecastle but he is ready to start today as are Greg Taylor and Cameron Carter-Vickers who are both carrying slight injuries but are fit enough to start.  The International break kicks in after today so both will have time to get fully fit.

Celtic starting XI for today’s match against Hibs is as follows:

Joe Hart;

Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt, Greg Taylor;

Callum McGregor (c), Reo Hatate, Matt O’Riley;

Jota, Kyogo, Daizen Maeda.

On the bench for Celtic this afternoon are Scott Bain, Yuki Kobayashi, Stephen Welsh, Alexandro Bernabei, Anthony Ralston, David Turnbull, Sead Hakšabanović, Liel Abada Ben Summers and Oh.

Kick-off is fast approaching, enjoy the game everyone and COYBIG…
