Team’s Up – Phillips and Scales start, Bernardo on bench

Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Dundee. The Scottish Champions kicked off the month with a 1-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox and the manager will be hoping that his side follow that up by putting the visitors to the sword.

The manager has made two changes from the side that won at Ibrox with Nat Phillips and Yang coming in for Lagerbielke and Abada dropping out.

In goals, Joe Hart starts. The Englishman made key blocks against St Johnstone and Rangers but he will be hoping for a quieter afternoon.

In defence, Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor start in the fullback berths. In the central pairing, the manager has gone for
Nat Phillips and Liam Scales.

In midfield, Callum McGregor starts with Matt O’Riley and Reo Hatate coming in. The Japanese midfielder has been out injured but will be hoping to make a stake for a starting position against Feyenoord.

In attack, Maeda, Kyogo and Yang will look to break down the visitors.

On the bench: Bain, Lagerbielke, Palma, Holm, Oh, Bernardo, Hatate, Forrest, Ralston.

  1. Poor team selection for me. How on earth does Turnbull get a game? Why not Scales at left back? (see if he is a better option for next Tuesday)
Why is Forrest on the bench (great career but surely time to step down)?
