Team’s Up – Postecoglou names team for Bristol City clash

Ange Postecoglou has named his side for tonight’s game against Bristol City. The Australian manager has won his first two friendly games and will be hoping for another win tonight as he prepares the team for the Champions League Qualifier versus FC Midtjylland.

In goals, Postecoglou is continuing with Vasilis Barkas with the Greek goalie looking to stake his claim to become the club’s No.1 moving forward this season.

In defence, Anthony Ralston starts at right-back with Stephen Welsh and Osaze Urhoghide partnered together at centre-back. Greg Taylor completes the defence playing at left-back.

In midfield, Ismaila Soro is joined by captain Callum McGregor with David Turnbull in a more advanced role. Karamoko Dembele plays at right-wing whilst Mikey Johnston plays left-wing for the Hoops.

Up front, Albian Ajeti leads the line and he will be looking to continue his impressive form.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm and is available to Celtic season ticket holders on the Pass to Paradise and non-STs on Celtic TV.
