Team’s Up – Simunovic Replaces Welsh

Three points and maintaining the momentum this evening is pivotal for Celtic in their quest for a ninth consecutive title. It appears Neil Lennon has decided to stick with his newfound 3-5-2 formation, which has served him so well of late, although the Celtic Manager has made one adjustment to his team that lined up against Hamilton Academical at the weekend. Stephen Welsh, who performed admirably on his debut, drops out for Jozo Simunovic as the Croatian international returns from injury to reclaim his spot in the heart of the defence.

Olivier Ntcham keeps his place in the starting line up, despite many suspecting that Ryan Christie may start in place of the Frenchman. Christie, who made a sublime impact when coming on as a substitute and assisted Celtic’s second goal on Sunday, has to make do with a spot on the bench this evening.

Joining Christie as substitutes are: new Bhoy Klimala, Bain, Welsh and Rogic. Whilst Elyounoussi and Bolingoli make much anticipated returns to the squad in place of Bauer and Hayes.

Here’s how Motherwell are lining top this evening…
