Team’s Up – Soro back in, Griffiths and Edouard start up top

Neil Lennon has named his team for this evening’s game versus Ross County. The Scottish Champions will be looking to close the gap on leaders Rangers with a convincing win over the bottom team in the Premiership. After the Quadruple Treble was sealed on penalties at Hampden, Lennon will be looking to keep players fresh and fit by rotating some key positions tonight.

In goals, Lennon has decided to go with Conor Hazard. The Irishman saved two penalties in the shoot out on Sunday and will be high on confidence going into the game even if he may feel he could’ve done better during the game.

In defence, Shane Duffy is being rested after picking up a minor knock at the weekend so Lennon has decided to partner Kris Ajer and Christopher Jullien. Jeremie Frimpong is reintroduced to the Celtic Starting XI at right back with Diego Laxalt playing on the left.

In midfield, Callum McGregor captains the side and he is joined with David Turnbull and Ismaila Soro. Although, it is unclear whether it will be a diamond or flat 4-4-2. On the right hand side, Ryan Christie will be hoping for another strike that was similar to that at Hampden. Moi Elyounoussi drops to the bench.

In attack, Neil Lennon has continued with Odsonne Edouard, who scored a brilliant panenka penalty in the Final but will have been kicking himself with the chances that he missed from open play. Leigh Griffiths starts up top despite Lennon saying he needed to work harder to start games.

On the bench: Barkas, Taylor, Bitton, Ajeti, Klimala, Rogic, Johnston, Ntcham and Elyounoussi.
