Team’s Up – Tommy McIntyre names Celtic B side for Lowland clash

Tommy McIntyre has named his side for today’s Scottish Lowland Football League clash against Vale of Leithen. The Celtic B side returns to league action after an SPFL Trust Trophy win over Annan Athletic. McIntyre’s side ran out 2-0 winners last time on league duty against Bo’ness at the weekend as they moved up to 6th in the table.

In goals, Oluwayemi starts.

In defence, Jackson, Lawal (C), Murray and Paterson make up the back four.

In midfield, Murphy, Carse and Wylie make up the midfield three.

In attack, Vata, Moffat and Dawson start.

The opportunity for the youngsters to play regular competitive football will reap rewards in the next few years as players see the opportunity to train within the club and also pull on the Hoops. Hopefully, we start to see players progress from the ‘B Team’ into Ange Postecoglou’s matchday squads moving forward.
