Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s game against St Johnstone. The Scottish Champions were beaten during the week and will want to get back to winning ways after drawing with Motherwell last weekend.
The manager has made two changes from the team that started against Lazio with David Turnbull and Luis Palma returning to the starting XI.
In goals, Joe Hart starts. In defence, Liam Scales and Cameron Carter-Vickers continue in the central pairing with Alistair Johnston on the right and Greg Taylor on the left.
In midfield, David Turnbull returns to the starting XI, at the expense of Paolo Bernardo. Turnbull is joined by skipper Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley. In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Luis Palma and Yang on the wings.
On the bench: Bain, Phillips, Holm, Oh, Tomoki, Bernardo, Forrest, Ralston, M. Johnston.
A win would extend Celtic’s lead at the top of the Premiership with Rangers not playing until later this afternoon.
The game kicks off at 12pm and is live on Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Football, with coverage starting at 11.
