‘Thanks Celtic’, ‘Good decision,’ – Season ticket renewal deadline now 30 June

AS EXPECTED Celtic have extended the deadline for season ticket renewals to the end of June, to allow for additional time for clarity on what is going to happen next season.

The club has this afternoon confirmed that this further extension pushes back the renewal deadline to Tuesday 30 June 2020.

Celtic also thanked the thousands of supporters who have already renewed their seat for the season ahead where we will be chasing down the magical Ten-in-a-Row.

“Now more than ever, your support is vital to the Club as we try to move forward and look ahead to next season together.

“We fully appreciate the difficulties which the current situation is presenting for all supporters. But for those who are looking to renew their seat at Paradise, you can still do so online at celticseasontickets.co.uk.

The Ticket Office remains closed at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And the club confirmed that the Auto Renewal deposits which were due to be collected on Friday, 29 May 2020 will now also be collected on 30 June, 2020.

This new deadline also applies to Corporate and Premium Season Ticket holders.

Celtic promise to continue to keep supporters informed and will provide further updates as soon as possible.

“We thank you sincerely for your continued support and send our best wishes again to you and your families, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Paradise.”

Some feedback to John Paul Taylor’s tweet on this – as shown above.

“Good decision in the circumstances – things should be a lot clearer by the middle of June.”

“Well done sensible option given the current situation.”

Not good enough from the Club on this topic. I can luckily afford to pay next season’s ticket but what about those with uncertainty. The club can’t just take payments from these people to pay our millionaire heroes wages. A bit more clarity/transparency would go a long way.”

To this one JPT replied: “It isn’t, payments due on 29 May have been put back until June 30 and will be moved again if necessary.’

Also from JP: “Auto renewal now being collected on 30 June, V12 payments still via your schedule unless you arrange a payment holiday.

“Thanks Celtic and thanks JP for representing us, this is much needed and welcome breathing space for many, myself included.”

“Good decision Celtic.”
