The brilliance of Brendan Rodgers and Matt O’Riley

No doubts about it, we currently have the best manager and player in the Scottish Premiership…

It should be left in no doubt, we are the best football side in this country. We are current Champions and sit seven points clear at the top of the table, having won games at Pittodrie, Ibrox and Tynecastle.

We are top of the league looking down on theRangers and the rest of the teams due to our own form and not because of anyone else’s failings. Two of the main reasons we sit at the top of the standings is of course down to our players and manager.

One man on the field of play in particular though deserves immense credit and that is Matt O’Riley. Matt has always been a terrific player, but had something missing from his game, and that was of course his lack of goals.

Well he’s certainly added that to his game this season and now has all the attributes of an out and out goalscorer, so much so that he is currently the top scorer in the country with six goals. Doubling his league tally from last term already!

That is all down to the management of Brendan Rodgers. Brendan, as we all know,  is a terrific man manager and has a great track record of bringing the best out in players. Matt of course deserves great credit, but I think even he would agree that Brendan’s influence has helped him massively.

It was no surprise last week when Brendan was named as manager of the month and Matt O’Riley as the Scottish Premiership’s Player of the Month, they are clearly the best manager and player in Scotland this season and there’s much more to come from both.

There is no doubts about it, Celtic  have the best manager and player in the country at this moment, and the scary thing is that they still have a level to go up. That’s bad news for the rest of the league, especially you know who.
