The Celtic Star Podcast: A strong Celtic start on Sunday could see the crowd turn even uglier

I enjoyed taking part in the Glasgow Derby Preview chat on the new Celtic Star Podcast last night alongside host Liam Kelly and Celtic authors David Potter and Matt Corr.

It’s 40 minutes of chat about Sunday’s game – with one or two laughs thrown in. We discuss tactics, the team selection and the players that we reckon will start as well as the impact substitutes that Ange will utilise, the hostile atmosphere at Ibrox is considered and how the Celtic players will deal with that after theRangers players failed so spectacularly to do so when they visited Celtic Park on 2 February and were lucky to go in at the interval just 3-0 behind.

A strong Celtic start on Sunday could see the crowd turn even uglier and really get on their own team’s backs and there is no chance that Ange Postecoglou is going to set his team up to do anything other than attack. With theRangers needing the win this one looks like being dramatic, exciting and from a Celtic perspective hopefully hugely enjoyable.

We’re planning on doing a post match podcast on Sunday afternoon hopefully to revel in a Celtic victory that takes us six points clear with a vastly superior goal difference – an amazing turn around since the start of the year.

Even if the worst happens Celtic will still be top of the league when were recording that podcast and will have one last remaining Glasgow Derby to play in the league at Celtic Park with 59,300 Celtic supporters ready to play our part in getting the victory.

Predictions for Sunday from the four Celtic Star writers indicate a close game with two opting for a score draw, one declining the opportunity to make a prediction and one going for a 2-1 win to Celtic.

Hope you enjoy listening…please hit the subscribe button. We have young Lubo98 at Ibrox on Sunday – he got the ticket in exchange for a promise to record some videos for us – so these will be available on Sunday afternoon too on The Celtic Star’s new You Tube channel.
