Times have been rather uncertain as of late for Celtic, but things could be about to get a lot worse – with PSV or Galatasaray being named as their next possible opponents in the Champions League, fans across the country have made it known their feelings of how the draw has gone – with many showing their dismay at the Celtic board for leaving the Hoops’ with ‘absolute failure’ due to a lack of spending in the club
Ange Postecoglou’s men still have the task of facing FC Midtjylland in the Champions League second round qualifier tomorrow night at Paradise: a feat which will be a hard task in itself. However, should they progress past the Danes, then giants PSV or Galatasaray will await the Bhoys; with Celtic picking up the hardest draw possible in this morning’s UEFA Conference in Lyon.
Reluctantly, it could be easy to assume Celtic will end up in the Europa League this season – however, with PSV and Galatasaray not being quite the powerhouses they used to be, there is always room for margin of error; something which Postecoglou will look to take advantage of in his first competitive fixtures as Celtic boss.
Fans went crazy at the news, blaming the board and officials galore – check out some of the reponses to the draw below.
Bold of you to assume we’d qualify for that too

The absolute failure from last season biting us where it hurts… if this isn’t a wake call to get the board to spend they need to go… it’s that simple

I have no expectations of getting anything positive results wise in Europe this year. The quicker it’s over with the better

It’s one thing not having the squad ready for the Champions League qualifiers.
It’s another that we’re less than two weeks away from the league starting & we still require several additions.

Class that St Johnstone currently have more chance of facing one of these teams than Celtic. https://t.co/erP01WmXey
