Neil Lennon has taken plenty of criticism this season for sticking with his “favourites” and not really taking form into account, but he can’t be accused of that today.

It’s taken a while for Soro and Turnbull to work their way into the side but they’ve certainly impressed, while it does feel like Scott Brown and Shane Duffy have been given every possible chance to show that they should continue to play.

There’s no doubt that Neil Lennon has gone with a bold team selection today, but it’s certainly an exciting one for the Celtic fans:

This rangers team has plenty of running and movement in them so it’s a day for legs over experience, while there’s also plenty of pace and quality in that Celtic line-up so you have to hope they can punish them on the counter attack.

Obviously the defence has been an issue all season so the fans will always be nervous about keeping things tight, so it looks like there’s a mix of excitement going forward and fear about the back-line in this selection today:
