The Search For Billy McNeill’s Missing Grandson

Billy McNeill’s grandson, Matthew McCombe, has been missing since 14 March, when he vanished in Amsterdam.

Matthew had been in the dutch capital to celebrate his 21st birthday. He was last seen leaving Novotel hotel on Europaboulevard. He didn’t have his phone, keys, wallet or passport on him and hasn’t made contact with anyone since.

Matthew’s father, Charlie, is at the centre of an appeal on Dutch TV. Charlie said: “For some reason, we don’t know why, he left the hotel room at 6.15am. I had a text at 1.36am. I’d asked him earlier how things had been and he said it was a class night. We don’t know what’s happened. We just ask the people if they can jog their memories back to that Saturday – and if they have seen him, let us know, so we can find out where he might be. And if anybody has Matthew, please give him back to his mum and dad. We need to have him.”

The family are visibly upset and in total desperation to find their son.

We ask our readers to share this information on social media, share Matthew’s photo and his mother, Paula’s posts to help the family find their son.

From the family of Billy McNeill: “I am the daughter of Billy McNeill.I'm reaching out to you, the Celtic family,…
