‘These people are not real Rangers fans,’ Jonathan Burns, ‘Possibly the most hateful thing I’ve ever heard,’ Adrian

JONATHAN BURNS, the son of Celtic legend Tommy Burns, has responded to a disgraceful video that appeared last night on social media. It appears to feature Rangers supporters travelling to or perhaps from the game in Dingwall and has some supporters chanting the most disgusting, shocking and distasteful thing you’ll have ever heard.

“As I’ve said before these people are not real Rangers fans and do not reflect real football fans, a majority of which are good. These people could live to be 1000 and not achieve what TB (Tommy Burns) or FB (Fiona Brown) have,” Jonathan noted, with a real dignity that his dad would have been proud of.

Some reaction to Jonathan’s tweet.

“So sorry you have had to see this despicable video, your dignified response is exactly the way your father would have responded to this and would have wanted you to also, your a bigger man then me though as I don’t think I’d be so dignified if that was my dad…Respect,” Dessybhoy wrote.

“Possibly the most hateful thing I’ve ever heard,” Adrian.

“Sad to see this, both sides of the divide has lost loved ones to cancer,” Govan Emerald CSC.

“If the majority of their fans are decent people, as is claimed here, and if they do exist, it’s long past the time when they should stand up and behave as such. Their silence leads me to conclude that they concur with the mentality that prevailed over the old and new ibrox clubs,” tamrabam observed.

“The fact Tommy Burns’ kids have replied to this video pitying these folk says everything about TB and the kind of person he was and how he and his wife raised their kids to be decent folk, this must be a very hard watch, the animals on this bus should be named and shamed,” Eddie stated.

“Beggars belief this! They are real Rangers and football fans. I know many dyed in the wool bigots and many just love football.Yet to meet one that would sink as low as this!” spamfritters commented.

“The sad thing is Jonathan are some of the majority you mention that are good, sitting on that bus just too shocked embarrassed or scared to ask them to STOP?” Boxer T asked.

Rangers Bantz had this to say: “I’m mortified seeing that, utter clowns that have no place in society let alone football.”

John Walker made this point: “I mean, I don’t really get what right it is of anyone to call them “not real fans”… they’ve travelled for Ross County away…”

Michaelputts had this to add: “Very sad you need to listen to that. Parasites. Your Dad was a great man, great player, and was adored by all.”

“Just when you think ‘they’ can’t get any worse…Scotland’s SHAME,” Mark Finlayson concluded.

There are many, many more comments about this. Rangers FC really need to identify these morons and take the appropriate action and perhaps Police Scotland should be looking at this too.

Here is Jonathan’s reply to the disgraceful tweet, which you might prefer NOT to view.
