Three points plus a performance to be proud of from Celtic

Back to action this afternoon and we all deserve a reaction after disappointing Derby showing…

Today thankfully sees the return of club football, and for ourselves it’s a traditional Saturday afternoon 3pm kick off at Paradise as we take on Hearts.

Our last game was of course the Glasgow Derby defeat to theRangers, and having to wait such a long time to bounce back has been extremely frustrating, so kick-off can’t come quickly enough for the Celtic supporters.

Do the players feel the same? I certainly hope so, as they owe us, the supporters, and the manager a reaction, and a positive one at that following a pitiful performance against theRangers, especially in that terrible first half.

We have a league to win and can’t afford any more sub par performances. The players have to improve on their performance and their attitude, traits they have in abundance, and they need to prove that to everyone, starting today that they intend to put things right.

They need to be fully committed and focused from the first whistle, and get the desired result whilst putting in a performance we can all be satisfied with. Brendan yesterday noted that the slow start in both Glasgow Derbies this year have been caused by slow starts from us while they have come flying out of the stalls.

The players owe us a fast start today against a Hearts side intending to replicate theRangers tactics. Anything less won’t be tolerated. Three points are a must but so too is performance full of skill, desire and commitment to the cause.

Let’s do it Bhoys.
