Celtic uploaded a short clip to their TikTok account of Aaron Mooy’s spectacular 84th-minute strike to put Celtic five ahead in the Scottish Cup tie against Greenock Morton.
In the clip, we get a view of Celtic TV’s unique angle of Aaron Mooy slotting away the ball with the song ‘ Daddy Cool’ by Boney M playing in the background. The song is in reference to how cool Mooy was when he both scored and celebrated his second goal of the match.
Mooy has become a huge fans favourite and like his other teammates who were in Qatar since returning from the World Cup he has been in outstanding form, adding goals to his game in the Hoops and crucially giving Celtic a reliable, competent penalty taker after we’ve misses several since the Socceroos Bhoy took over the responsibilities.
With so many top midfielders at the club Mooy obviously faces stiff competition for places, including from David Turnbull who has also made his mark in recent games to give Ange Postecoglou even more starting options.
