TikTok Video: Ex-Celtic player scores incredible FA Cup goal

The official BBC Sport TikTok page has uploaded a video of the former Celtic player, Karamoko Dembele, scoring an incredible goal in the FA Cup.

Karamoko Dembele was a promising youth player at Celtic, dubbed the ‘wonder kid’ and even made appearances for Celtic U20s at the age of 13. He made his Celtic first-team debut at the age of 16 during the 2018/19 season under the watch of Neil Lennon.

During the Summer of 2022, Dembele departed Celtic to join Stade Brest on a four-year deal but failed to accumulate enough game time for the side, which has resulted in the winger currently playing for Blackpool in League 1 on a season-long loan.

In the clip, we see Dembele start the move from the midfield, and push it all the way to the edge of the box before a quick one-two allowed the winger to put the ball in the back of the net. Dembele’s goal saw Blackpool go two up against Bromley in the first half-hour.

Matt Corr’s new book Majic, Stan and the King of Japan is out now and Neil Lennon, the Celtic captain that season, has written the foreword for us.
