Video: Carl Starfelt’s first Celta Vigo goal since Celtic exit

The official Viaplay TikTok page has uploaded a clip showing Carl Starfelt’s first goal for his new side Celta Vigo. The Swedish defender decided to make a move away from Celtic Park during the Summer in favour of a four-year deal in the Spanish League with Celta Vigo.

A well-placed free-kick from 30 yards out allowed Carl Starfelt to put the ball in the back of the net from the back post and put Celta Vigo 1-0 up against Sevilla. Unfortunately, a late goal from Sevilla saw the match end as a 1-1 draw.

  1. I’ve read so much nonsense about how Starfelt being allowed to leave was a big mistake etc.
Let’s stop kidding ourselves here! Starfelt was a bombscare! He was a liability.
The record with CCV was good because of CCV, not because of Starfelt! If you think about it, whoever played with CCV had the same successes! But when CCV was out injured and Starfelt was the experience being depended upon, we were a disaster at the back!
Moving him along was good business!

  2. Yea , what do Postecoglou and Benítez know about football compared to you Joe , they rated him and you dont , wonder whos right eh ?
