Celtic appear to be planning for the future with the club needing to get their ducks’ in a row for the UEFA Champions League qualifiers that lie in wait this summer…

Jota has come into the club this month and that deal has been confirmed as completed earlier on today in an announcement that has sent the fanbase into a frenzy.
That mouth-watering return should just be one of several moves that the club are looking to make in the next few days or so. Kyogo Furuhashi has now officially left the door to Paradise and will now have the job of trying to steer his new club, Stade Rennais, away from the danger of the relegation zone in Ligue 1 – marked difference from his environment in Scotland.
Brendan will be looking for a striker

Brendan Rodgers will now be on the lookout for a replacement of real quality to ensure there is no mid-season drop off in quality, especially considering our Champions League knockout tie which is still to come in a matter of weeks. The names doing he rounds so far have been Mohamed Bayo and Mathias Kvistgaarden, whom it’s thought would cost the club a pretty penny if we were to snap him up from Brondby this month.
Crucial loan deal for KT ahead of pre-contract arrival is in the balance
Kieran Tierney’s pre-contract agreement with club is all but sealed and we await to see if the heirarchy can thrash out that crucial loan deal with Arsenal to bring him home early for that stunning reunion at the club he made his name. With Oleksander Zincheko a wanted man too, it could prove a difficult deal to broker this winter as Arsenal want to challenge for the Premier League title.

Meanwhile, another defender has popped up in transfer cyberspace where the Bhoys are concerned, with Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph – who is on point with most of his transfer stories – revealing that the Scottish Champions are in talks with Tobias Slotsager’s representatives over a pre-contract agreement this summer. The centre-back’s deal with Odense BK is up in a few months and Joseph reports that Celtic have begun negotiations with his camp over a move.

Celtic are one of a number of clubs in Europe interested in Odense BK centre-back Tobias Slotsager.
