Two things from recent seasons that will be missing from The Glasgow Derby on Saturday

This whole season has been bizarre. Having no fans in the stadium is an obvious difference from previous Glasgow Derby matches, but the absence of the pre-match corteo will be another exemption from the day.

These fan marches from the Celtic Social club on London Road up to the stadium have been a new feature introduced by the Green Brigade in the last few years, although they often took place at Youth Cup finals in days gone by. They provide a superb build up to the match…

The other thing that we won’t see happening, is play being resumed if there is a carbon copy of this challenge:

The ball was won cleanly and firmly, but under new rules play would be stopped because the ball hit the referee!
