Last one on yesterday’s exciting game between the two best women’s sides in Scottish football, Celtic and Glasgow City. It’s a chance to see Celtic TV’s Unique Angle of the two second half goals both made by China’s Shen Mengyu and scored by New Zealand’s Olivia Chance – both players coming on at the interval as Fran Alonso looked to turn around a 2-0 half-time deficit after an uncharacteristically disappointing first half performance from his side.

Celtic lost to Glasgow City in the season opener last season so this is a decent result for Alonso’s side who could even have won it in the end. That’s being greedy though as a share of the points was a fair result. The title race this season is going to be as tight as last year.
Meanwhile Celtic FC Women’s next scheduled SWPL match against Motherwell on Sunday has now been postponed, with the reasons for this still unclear. So the next game is going to be against Hibs on 26 September after the international break. .
