Unique Angle – Quick Thinking Turnbull and Rogic’s Fabulous Finish

“A fantastic well worked free-kick finished off by the 𝘞𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘖𝘻 to secure the three points for the Celts in Paradise!…”

It was a clever, inventive goal that decided the game yesterday against Motherwell as indeed was that corner that the referee decided was way too clever for his own limited understanding of the rules of the game and forced David Turnbull to re-take.

Tom Rogic missed a few chances yesterday – one shot, when it looked easier to score went out for a throw in but mostly it was high and handsome, just like the our Wizard of Oz really!

With no strikers and James Forrest not looking too clever on the injury front, it’s going to be down to the likes of Rogic and Turnbull to get Celtic through these upcoming games starting in Dingwall in midweek. Celtic have unhappy memories of our last trip to the Highlands when the 1-0 was the straw that eventually broke the camel’s back as far as Neil Lennon retaining the Celtic job was concerned.

It’s a tough place to go especially in midwinter and with no strikers.  Just as well we’ve got Turnbull and the Wizard of Oz. Here’s the Unique Angle from yesterday….
