Odsonne Edouard and The Stone Roses classic star in the clever little promotional video that Crystal Palace have releases this evening to announce and celebrate the signing of Odsonne Edouard from Celtic for £14m rising to £18.5m with add ons.
The Celtic support is heard loud and proud chanting the Stone Roses anthem, adapted by the Celtic support to honour the player we simply called French Eddie.
Southampton and Preston North End did the same thing with our songs for Stuart Armstrong and Scotty Sinclair. This one is probably the best though, enjoy…
An incredible talent. An iconic chant.

…and the very best of luck to Odsonne at Crystal Palace, got a feeling he’s gonna smash things up down there!
Odsonne will wear the number 22 jersey for Palace, just as he wore for Celtic.

And then there was none the gang of four wantaways have left us. Good luck to all of them and remember we have lost better players and have thrived
Gosh, how little meaning these low level English clubs actually have. They, like Sevco, need to steal Celtic songs directly or copy the tune and change the words. It seems we are the benchmark for many clubs, in many ways.
