The stand-in captain has said that the 9IAR Champions need to win every game and hope that some of their league rivals can take some points off of Steven Gerrard’s Rangers if the club are to better Jock Stein’s record from 1974.

Celtic sit 21 points behind but have three games in hand. A win on Saturday would close the gap slightly before Rangers play at Fir Park on Sunday morning. With two games to go against Rangers, there is still a slim hope that the league can be won; however, it would require a gigantic effort to overturn the lead but it is not impossible.
