This might be in danger of becoming a bit over the top when it comes to the appreciation shown towards Jeremie Frimpong, but his recent performances have been fully deserving.
He’s probably even more popular because there wasn’t an awful lot expected of him when he signed. He’s impressed whenever he’s played and Lenny payed tribute to him in his post match interview yesterday by saying he genuinely improves the team when he plays.

His pace and energy is incredible to see, it allows him to patrol the entire wing on his own and causes the opposition team so many problems.
We haven’t seen him tested properly in a defensive sense, so it will be interesting to see how he gets on when he comes up against stronger opposition.
For now, we can just sit back and appreciate him as one of the more unexpected stars of the season so far.
