Video: BBC commentator’s gushing Celtic assessment from Saturday

BBC Commentator Liam McLeod produced a gushing assessment of Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic on Saturday as they slapped Rangers aside. McLeod was on the mic for the game for Sportsound and this clip has emerged of him paying them an enormous compliment, saying that they were better than the teams of Brendan Rodgers and Martin O’Neill.

The victory put Celtic five points clear at the table’s summit with a plus 17 goal advantage. The win comes at an early stage of the season with a lot of football to be played but it is a real marker.

Tonight brings another test for Celtic as Real Madrid arrive in Glasgow’s East End. It will prove to be a real challenge for the players and manager but it is one that we can hopefully savour.
