Despite dominating in today’s Glasgow Derby, Celtic were undone by an own-goal and fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Ibrox. The game took Steven Gerrard’s 19 points clear, albeit Celtic have 3 games in hand. This has prompted some Rangers fans to take to Ibrox and start firing fireworks and flares.
The clear breaches of the COVID-19 laws should be condemned as gatherings at Celtic Park have been in recent months but the celebrations are to mark the winning of a league that hasn’t yet been won.

Football is a strange thing and it can through up surprises; however, one lesson is that you should never celebrate until something is won. Don’t count your chickens or indeed the 54 titles the previous club won.
