Bertie came to our club in sarnia Ontario in 2014 and was an absolute fantastic ambassador for Celtic, had time for everyone and we decided that night to change our club name to the Bertie Auld csc sarnia. He is a living Celtic legend.
What a man Bertie is! And what a player! And what a fan! He once said to me that to play for Celtic, you have to realise that the only important thing in the world is the green and white jersey! You have to be a fan, and rejoice and mourn with the fans! Mercenaries can go elsewhere, but this is Celtic!
