Video: Brendan Rodgers signing scores stunning winner in MLS

Former Celtic full-back Andrew Gutman has scored a stunning last-minute winner for Atlanta United. The 25-year-old struck a sweet left-footed effort into the back of the net to settle the game against Seattle.

It is a tidy finish and it makes you think that Celtic may have missed a trick with the attacking left back. Gutman joined Celtic from Chicago FC United in January 2019 after trialing at Rangers before opting for the Scottish Champions. Despite having never played for the club in a competitive match for Celtic, Gutman impressed in the Austrian pre-season tour before being sent on loan.

The player has played with Cincinnati, New York Red Bulls and latterly Atlanta. Gutman was one of Celtic’s last signings under Brendan Rodgers but never had a chance in Glasgow due to red tape preventing him from getting a visa.
