Callum McGregor has given Celtic the lead with a brilliant goal from the skipper. With 23 minutes on the clock, the 31-year-old received the ball in the midfield from Yang before driving towards the United box, evading the challenges from the United players before nestling an effort beyond Walton.

It is a rare occurrence for McGregor to score from within the area this season, such has been his quality for finding the net from outside the box.
Celtic have been comfortable in possession without causing Jim Goodwin’s backline too many issues; however, Jota and Schlupp appear to be linking up well down Celtic’s left, something that will please Brendan as he considers the team for Tuesday.
