Celtic captain Callum McGregor settled nerves at Paradise this evening after the captain smashed the second goal of the night. The midfielder moved into a more advanced role after Nir Bitton came on for Reo Hatate and reaped the rewards after blasting a blow effort beyond Jak Alnwick.

Cameron Carter-Vickers scored the opener after a Jota fee kick fell favourably for Ange Postecoglou’s side. McGregor was subbed off shortly thereafter with Yosuke Ideguchi getting some game time.
