Celtic skipper Callum McGregor has reacted to the UEFA Champions League opening night defeat to Feyenoord. The Scottish Champions were defeated 2-0 and finished the game with nine men after Gustaf Lagerbielke and Odin Thiago Holm were sent off.
Speaking to TNT Sports’ Emma Dodds after the game, McGregor said that he and his teammates would use thus experience to their benefit moving forward.
“We have to take the lesson of you have to play with 11 men at this level. It’s hard enough at 11 men never mind when you go to nine.”
