Video: Neil Lennon was every Celtic fan as he reacted to Feyenoord opener

Former Celtic midfielder and manager Neil Lennon was just about every Hoops fan as he reacted to Feyenoord’s opener this evening. Working with Sky Sports, the Irishman was disappointed as Arne Slot’s side took the lead on the stroke of half-time.

Probably more-so relating to the timing of the goal, Celtic put themselves in a good position but found themselves wanting once again at the top level.

Check out his reaction below…

Joe Hart was furious as the 24-year-old’s strike appeared to go through the gap vacated by Kyogo to allow the Dutch side the lead. Arguably, Hart has put the wall in place to cover that side as he covers the other side of the goal. However, the free-kick has been smuggled through the wall, bounced and skid off the surface into the net. The Celtic No.1 could’ve certainly moved his feet a little quicker but why is one of the team’s smallest players being set up in the wall?

Celtic were beaten 2-0 in the end and completed the match with nine men after Gustaf Lagerbielke and Odin Thiago Holm were sent off. Lennon’s reactions were pretty much on point for these decisions.
