On this day in 1982, Celtic twice came from behind to beat Rangers 3-2. Paul McStay was in inspired form, winning a crunching tackle to start off the move, which he then finished off to draw Celtic level. Having fell behind again, McStay won another challenge with determined play, showed quick feet to take on the defender and slipped a well timed pass to McGarvey, who made no mistake. Victory was then sealed by Murdo MacLeod.
