A year ago today, Celtic faced Aberdeen in a crucial SPFL match at Pittodrie. The pair do battle again tomorrow with the venue reversed and both teams in very different form.

The match last year, saw Celtic take the lead through Callum McGregor, who converted the rebound from James Forrest’s effort. Aberdeen then levelled things up before the break and things were looking edgy for the Celts until Kristoffer Ajer moved to right back and burst up the wing to score.

The victory all but sealed the title before COVID-19 hit and Celtic’s unassailable lead saw them crowned champions as a result of a vote by all SPFL clubs.
