Video: Celtic Beat Malmo At Home, On This Day (2015)

Beating Malmo at home in a European qualification tie isn’t for everyone, or for every Scottish team. However, Celtic did just that on this day in 2015, as a topsy-turvy encounter finally ended in a 3-2 win for Ronny Deila’s men.

Goals on the night came from Leigh Griffiths (2) and Nir Bitton, whilst former Celt Jo Inge Berget returned to haunt the Hoops with a brace of his own. Berget’s second goal came in the dying moments of the game, putting a totally different complexion on the tie. Malmo took full advantage of that lifeline and went on to progress after victory in the second leg.
