Josip Juranovic is set to travel to Glasgow to complete a medical ahead of a move to Celtic this weekend. As part of the deal, the Croatian international full back has been allowed to play for Legia Warsaw against Slavia Prague tonight – a farewell appearance, which could help the Polish outfit reach the group stages of the Europa League.
Juranovic will be cup tied for Celtic’s second leg match in the Netherlands next week, but could be in line to make his debut at Ibrox that weekend and will be available for the Hoops in the group stages should they get there.
Many Celtic supporters face an anxious wait for full time this evening as they hope Josip avoids injury or suspension. However, there’s no sign of the player taking things lightly. Indeed, he has just scored a superb goal to put Legia in front!
