Video: Celtic goals on this day – featuring Larsson, Collins and Edouard

Thanks to LilZe on Twitter, we are able to take a trip down memory lane and look at some fixtures in previous seasons involving the famous Green and White Hoops. This day included league matches, European qualifiers and friendly matches but some good goals were scored across the decades.

Firstly in 2018, Celtic faced Kenny Miller’s Livi to open the 2018/19 season. Goals from Tom Rogic, Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham sealed a comfortable win against the newly-promoted Livi as Brendan Rodgers’ side celebrated an opening day win.

Next was the opening fixture of the 2012/13 season as Celtic welcomed Aberdeen to Paradise. Kris Commons was the matchwinner for Neil Lennon’s side that day as they hoisted the league flag.

Next in 2010/11, Neil Lennon’s Celtic were knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers with a 4-2 defeat to Braga.

In 2001, Martin O’Neill’s side beat Killie 1-0 at Rugby Park thanks to a goal from the King of Kings.

In 1991, John Collins’ goal was enough to beat Tottenham Hotspur at Celtic Park.
