Thanks to LilZe on Twitter, we are able to take a trip down memory lane and look at some fixtures in previous seasons involving the famous Green and White Hoops. This day included league matches, European qualifiers and friendly matches but some good goals were scored across the decades.
Firstly in 2018, Celtic faced Kenny Miller’s Livi to open the 2018/19 season. Goals from Tom Rogic, Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham sealed a comfortable win against the newly-promoted Livi as Brendan Rodgers’ side celebrated an opening day win.
