Video: Celtic goals On This Day, including 7-0 and screamer from King Kenny

On This Day throughout the years, Celtic have scored some incredible goals. Thanks to Lilze_7 on Twitter, we are able to revisit and relive some of them.

2004 – Celtic 5 Livingston 1

Martin O’Neill’s side moved closer to the League title with a comprehensive win over Livi. Goals from Pearson and Sutton weer enough to give Celtic a 2-1 half-time lead. Three minutes into the second half and Thompson struck. The King made it 4-1 from an indirect free-kick before Thompson’s paneka rounded off scoring.

We wouldnt mind this result on Sunday…

2009 – Celtic 7 St Mirren 0

A procession of goals from Crosas, Scott Brown (2) and an own goal complimented a hat-trick from Shunsuke Nakamura as Celtic blew St Mirren away 7-0.

1976 – Celtic 4 Hibernian 0

1998 – Hibernian 0 Celtic 1

Wim Jansen’s Celtic took a vital victory on their travels with a 1-0 win at Easter Road. Having lost the season opener against the Hibees, it was a big win which would be massively important come the end of the season.

1981 – Morton 0 Celtic 3

If we take a game from the 29th, Celtic played Hearts at Tynecastle and ran out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Gerry Creaney.
