Video: Celtic TV break media silence on Algarve trip and Rennes match

Finally Celtic break their media blackout on the winter training week in Portugal and the friendly match against Rennes, however it’s not clear when that game is taking place, if it’s underway now and if Ryan Maher from Celtic TV is actually there or speaking to the camera in Glasgow with the Algarve setting being cleverly shown in the background, something that’s easily done these days.

Here’s the video of the week in Portugal that the club has just released and you can do your best to check out who is there and who is missing. Anyone spot Giakoumakis in the footage? Surely he must be there!

There is a promise of media updates on the match against Rennes but so far there’s nothing showing and no-one is really too sure when this game is kicking off?

What is clear is that Celtic are busy preparing for the action and this time next week we’ll either be at Pittodrie – if you are lucky enough to have a ticket – or glued to your TV screens waiting for the kick-off against Aberdeen as Celtic get back into competitive action in the Scottish Premiership.
