Video: Celtic’s loan star Luca Connell continues to Impress for Queen’s Park

Celtic’s out on loan midfielder, Luca Connell continues to impress for Champions Queens Park, last night creating the crucial opening goal in the League 2 match away to Stirling Albion.

The midfielder, who signed from Bolton but has been so far unable to force his way into the Celtic side, will be looking at the developments at the club over the next few weeks and with numerous players set to leave may feel that he’ll at long last be given his opportunity next season.

The period on loan at Queen’s Park, albeit at a very modest level in League Two, will have given him some much needed game-time in competitive matches and assists and goals like this latest one plus several others, including his effort against Albion Rovers (see below) helps keep his name in there as a contender.

  1. We definitely need the new boss to get up to speed on all our loan players and reverse the trend of them leaving. Play them in the league cup, the odd league game, keep them commited and exposed to the fans. Looking forward to the white smoke
