Video: Celts train at Lennoxtown ahead of Motherwell trip

Celtic’s official media channel has released footage of the Bhoys training ahead of our fixture at Motherwell tomorrow night. After extending our lead at the top of the cinch Premiership league table to a Magnificent Seven points over our fierce rival theRangers, Ange and his team will be looking to inflict more pain before the World Cup break this month.

We seem to have recovered well from the disappointing European games which could so easily have been confidence sapping for the players. But the squad have dusted themselves down and have taken it in their stride as part of a learning curve at the moment. This is still a team in a growth period after all.

The shock defeat this season to St Mirren has also been an important boot up the backside and it’s no wonder that these late winners have happened so late in the games we have encountered in the subsequent weeks since. If we’re being truthful, it came at a good time for us, as it kept us on our toes after dismantling van Bronckhorst’s side at Celtic Park back in September.

Tomorrow promises to be a good game as the pitch at Fir Park is looking class at the minute. Hopefully the the players get into their stride early on and we enjoy our football. A repeat of the League Cup match in which we swatted Stevie Hammell’s men aside with some cutting football at times would be nice.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
