Chris Sutton has reiterated his belief that Ange Postecoglou has done enough to earn the Manager of the Year accolade. Celtic travel to Ibrox on Sunday with three points over Rangers but a win would take Postecoglou towards the Premiership title in his first season.
A few weeks later, Celtic face Giovanni Van Bronkhorst’s side at Hampden in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup as Postecoglou looks to gain a treble in his first year in Scotland. Having beaten Hibs to win the League Cup back in December, Sutton suggested on BBC 5Live that he had done enough, regardless of who won the league.
“Regardless of who wins the league, Rangers or Celtic, Ange Postecoglou has to be manager of the year!”

Postecoglou arrived in the summer from Yokohama F Marinos and many were wondering whether he would be able to adapt to the pressures of Glasgow. However, he has adapted incredibly well and the fact that he is in a position is a testament to the hard work by the Australian.
