Video – Dundee Really Did Help Celtic Win The League Once

Love Street ’86 is famous in Celtic circles. One of the best days in the club’s history.

Celtic faced St Mirren needing a miracle to be declared champions. Hearts were at Dens Park against bottom of the table, Dundee. Avoiding defeat would see them champions, whilst Celtic needed to rack up a cricket score.

We all know how it played out, Celtic won 5-0 and Dundee’s Albert Kidd hit a double to give Celtic the title.

And how we celebrated!

In some delusional club’s eyes, Dundee are set to hand Celtic the title again, if reports suggesting that they are going to vote in favour of the SPFL resolutions are true.

A lockdown nine in a row might be celebrated a touch differently.
