Video: Ex-Celtic Player Makes Worrying Point on Brendan’s Return

The former Celtic player, Craig Burley, has revealed his opinion on the recent re-appointment of Brendan Rodgers as the Celtic manager.

Speaking on ESPN UK, the former Scottish international makes a worrying point when discussing Brendan Rodgers’ return to Paradise. Burley admits that Rodgers was probably the top pick for the job, although he is wary of the outcomes of success that Brendan could bring. Burley makes the point that if Brendan is able to get Celtic in a winning position, heads in the Premier League could turn again and history may repeat itself, saying: “What’s to stop him doing it again?”.  Burley concludes by stating that Rodgers has several bridges to mend in order to make up for ‘bailing’ on the club in 2019.
