Ex-Celtic Women manager Fran Alonso this week finally arrived in America as his managerial reign at Houston Dash officially gets underway. Houston Dash posted a video showing the Spaniard arriving in the airport and his first training session with the players.

Alonso took charge of Celtic Women in January 2020 and brought silverware to the women’s side for the first time in ten years. During his time at the club, he won two Scottish Cups back-to-back, an SWPL league cup and recorded two second place finishes in the league, taking Celtic into the Champions League for the first time and he did it twice.
