Luke McCowan made it 3-1 to Celtic with a great finish from close range. After great work from James Forrest down Celtic’s right hand side, McCowan collected the cutback before firing a shot into the roof of the net, leaving Mitov with no chance.
After setting up Yang’s goal at the end of the first half, Forrest drove into the Aberdeen box before hitting the byline and cutting it back for McCowan.

Shortly after, Celtic went 4-1 up with Johnny Kenny netting his first goal for the club. McCowan clipped in a tantalising cross for the Irishman to race in and nod in Celtic’s fourth of the evening.
🗣️ “A moment he will cherish and remember forever!”

It is Kenny’s first start and he will be delighted at his first goal. Brendan will want to get James Forrest on the scoresheet, who continues to chase a goal in 16 consecutive campaigns.
