Video: Green Brigade Mark Group’s 15 Year Anniversary In Style

The Green Brigade Ultras were formed in 2006 with the aim of rekindling the famous Celtic Park atmosphere and re-enlivening the stadium. Since then, the group has grown in size and significance and has become international news on occasion. A politically aware, active and outspoken contingent of the Celtic support, the Green Brigade are loved and hated in equal measure across Scotland and beyond.

Regardless of which side of the fence you sit, there’s no denying that their displays have been incredible, their presence has been felt and their additions to the songbook have been legendary. They’ve kept the traditions of charity and old songs alive, whilst they’ve also altered the culture and style of the Celtic support in certain ways, combining the traditional Irish/Celtic songs with a modern ultra style of support that has swept along the youth and energised the stadium. Visual displays, banners, pyrotechnics, corteos and choreographed chanting are some of the additions that could hardly have been imagined as recent as two decades ago.

The group are now 15 years old and to celebrate, they have uploaded the following video to the North Curve Celtic twitter page. Enjoy!
